SUMMARY:The Spirit of Dissent: Echoes of American Dreams
DESCRIPTION:Join the Nathaniel R. Jones Center for Race\, Gender\, and Social Justice for The Spirit of Dissent: Echoes of American Dreams\, an inspiring fundraising event dedicated to celebrating the power of dissent in shaping our democracy. This gathering will bring together students\, practicing lawyers\, and community members to engage with the intersection of justice\, the rule of law\, and the importance of standing up for our beliefs—even in the face of adversity.  Our keynote speaker\, Rogers M. Smith\, will share insights on “The Declaration of Independence and American Dreams\,” illuminating the historical and contemporary significance of dissent as a catalyst for change. Join us as we honor the spirit of dissent and inspire action for a brighter future. \nRegister Here: https://foundation.uc.edu/thespiritofdissent \nRogers M. Smith is the Christopher H.
