Freedom Center Journal

The Freedom Center Journal (FCJ) was a joint, scholarly print publication of the Jones Center and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in downtown Cincinnati. The FCJ explored the legacies of historic struggles for freedom as a context for understanding ongoing forms of subordination and developing strategies for social change.

Truly interdisciplinary in nature, the student-edited FCJ published articles, comments, essays, book reviews, poetry, visual art, and other works by legal practitioners, activists, artists, scholars, and the students themselves.
